    The HMAS Sydney wreck will be preserved on film after a heritage grant of close to $500,000 was handed to the WA Museum, who, along with Curtin University and other partners, will use high resolution imaging technology.

    Mills says HMAS Sydney sank after a battle with a German raider, and was found off Geraldton in 2008. She says the WA Museum recently received funding to conduct a survey with Curtin University using imaging technology.
